Precision Budget is a personal finance tool designed so that you stay in control of your information. The app is built to function without collecting, transmitting, or selling your personal financial data. This policy explains what that means in practice.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We designed Precision Budget to avoid collecting sensitive financial information. Specifically:
- We do not require you to connect or link any bank account.
- We do not collect your account numbers, balances, transactions, or login credentials.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.
The budgets, goals, bills, and net worth figures you enter are stored locally on your device.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
The data you enter into the app, such as income, expenses, savings goals, bills, debts, and net worth entries, is stored on your device. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. We recommend keeping your own backup of any figures you want to preserve.
4. Limited Technical Data
Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated information through the App Store, such as download counts and crash reports, to help us improve the app. This information does not identify you personally and is governed by Apple's own privacy practices.
5. Device Security and Face ID
Precision Budget can use your device's built in security, such as Face ID or your passcode, to lock the app. This authentication is handled entirely by your device. We never receive or store your biometric data.
6. Children's Privacy
Precision Budget is intended for adults managing their personal finances and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
