The short version. Precision Budget is built privacy first. We do not collect your financial data, we do not require you to link a bank account, and your information stays on your device.
Precision Budget is a personal finance tool designed so that you stay in control of your information. The app is built to function without collecting, transmitting, or selling your personal financial data.
The budgets, goals, bills, debts, and net worth figures you enter are stored on your device. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. We recommend keeping your own backup of any figures you want to preserve.
Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated information through the App Store, such as download counts and crash reports, to help us improve the app. This does not identify you personally and is governed by Apple's own privacy practices.
Precision Budget can use your device's built in security, such as Face ID or your passcode, to lock the app. This is handled entirely by your device. We never receive or store your biometric data.
Precision Budget is intended for adults managing their personal finances and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
